Unplug

The world is always buzzing—screens lighting up, messages arriving, a constant pull to check, to scroll, to keep up. This practice is about stepping away. About remembering what exists beyond the screen. About reconnecting—with yourself, with the world around you, with the quiet that too often gets drowned out.

A Practice of Stillness and Presence

Decide how long you will unplug—an hour, a morning, a full day. Commit to it. Set your devices aside. Let notifications fade into the background.

Find a space where you can simply be. It could be a quiet corner of your home, a garden, a stretch of nature where the wind replaces the noise of the world. Feel what it’s like to be here, in real time, without distractions.

Let yourself move through the day differently. Read, write, stretch, cook, walk, breathe. Feel the weight of your body, the rhythm of your breath, the world moving at its own pace.

Notice what arises in the silence—the thoughts, the impulses, the moments of discomfort, the surprising ease. Let them come and go.

At the end of your unplugged time, pause. Reflect on what it felt like to step away. What did you notice? What did you not miss? What will you carry forward?

When you pick up your device again, do it with awareness. Let technology serve you, not consume you.
