Be Silly
There is freedom in movement. In shaking, spinning, leaping, and losing yourself in rhythm. This practice is about letting go—of self-consciousness, of tension, of the need to do things “right.” It’s an invitation to be silly, be wild, be completely free.
A Practice of Playfulness and Release
Put on music that makes you move. Something fast, something ridiculous, something that pulls you out of your head and into your body.
Start slow—maybe a little swaying, a little bouncing. Then let loose. Jump, flail, twirl. Move in ways that make no sense. Laugh at yourself. Be as ridiculous as possible.
If you’re with others, play off each other’s energy. Mirror movements, invent silly routines, take turns leading the chaos. If you’re alone, even better—there’s no one to impress, nothing to get right.
Let the music take over. No thinking, no planning—just movement. Just joy.
When the song ends, pause. Feel the energy buzzing in your body. Let it settle. Carry that lightness with you.
