Rise with the Sun

There’s a moment before sunrise when the world holds its breath. The sky begins to lighten, the air shifts, and everything feels on the edge of something new. This practice is about meeting that moment—not just outside, but within.

A Practice of Stillness and Light

Just before sunrise, step outside or sit by a window. Wait. Watch. Not as an observer, but as if you’re waiting for someone you love. Let anticipation build—not in words, but in feeling.

As the first light breaks over the horizon, sense that same rising inside you. Imagine a small sun near your navel, slowly lifting with the dawn. As the sun rises higher, feel warmth expanding within.

After about ten minutes, close your eyes. The afterimage of the sun will glow behind your eyelids, a reflection of something deeper. Stay with it. Let it settle inside you.

That’s it. No effort, no expectation. Just witnessing the rising—outside and in.
